We share with you a love of mathematics and belief that learning mathematics is important. Besides the pleasure of doing mathematics and teaching mathematics many studies point to the increased earning potential for people with mathematics training. The Department would like to work with you to further the teaching and understanding of mathematics. We would be happy to help you develop your vision for mathematics in the University and beyond.
Gifts to the Department of Mathematical Sciences are used to support our general development goals including support for student travel to conferences and workshops, student seminars and meetings, the undergraduate lounge and other needs of the department. You may also designate your gift to be used for particular student awards as well as the Graduate Enrichment Account.
We look forward to greater dialogue with our friends and Alumni to continue to improve the our undergraduate and graduate programs. Please feel free to contact the Chair (firstname.lastname@example.org).
