DelMar Numerics Day 2018, an annual Workshop in Computational Mathematics, will be held on UD campus next May 5. This is the sixth edition of this event, organized jointly by the departments of Mathematics of the University of Maryland at College Park (Ricardo Nochetto and Tobias von Petersdorff) and UD (Petr Plechac and Francisco J Sayas). DelMar Day is an all-Saturday event with a keynote speaker (this year it will be Mark Ainsworth from Brown University) and a dozen or so of selected talks in all areas of computational mathematics. DelMar was started in 2012 with a first edition in Delaware and has since moved around to College Park, UM Baltimore County, the US Naval Academy, and George Mason University. More information about this and past editions of DelMar Numerics Day can be found in the website
