Apply online for all programs.
All applications to the UD graduate program in Mathematical Sciences must be made via the UD Office of Graduate and Professional Education. A fee is required. The department offers both MS (master's) and PhD (doctoral) degrees. Apply for admission to the MS program only if it is a terminal degree--that is, if you do not intend to go on to obtain the PhD.
The department requires that you provide the results of the GRE General Test and one GRE Subject Test. The Subject Test need not be in Mathematics.
Foreign applicants should note that the Mathematical Sciences Department accepts either the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Minimum acceptable scores can be found at the graduate office page under "Applicant phase - test scores".
Contact Ms. Debbie See with any questions about applying to the program.
