Continuing Education, Non-Traditional Students, and Returning Students
BodyText1
Please read all the information regarding the math placement process on the other web pages. In addition, be aware of the following:
- You will probably have to pay to access this program. The fee is $25 and will be required through a credit card as you register in ALEKS.
- If you are a returning student, you may not need to pay if your six month ALEKS access has not expired. If it has, you will have to pay this fee and start again.
- Many non-traditional students have not studied math for a significant amount of time. It might be worth while to take Math 010: Intermediate Algebra (non-credit math course) to begin. This course will prepare you for Math 114 or Math 115. If this seems too difficult, you can take a Basic Algebra course at a community college or other post-secondary institution. Discuss options with your adviser.
